This handwritten text by Chingaru provides his account of being in Nepal during 1974. (Parts of the text are very similar to one written by Durga (Nepal Impressions (DN-4)). He describes their housing and ours, shopping for foodstuff, and his miscellaneous impressions of the Kathmandu. He also talks about when Jay Narayan, a Maithili speaker, came to stay so he could work with Alice and Jenny in teaching them his language.
Some of the text is narrative though mostly it is descriptive.
